ARIGATOU GOZAIMASH*TA TAIKO-ON!
A huge thank you to Taiko-On for their energetic and inspiring performance yesterday. Curtin Primary School students thoroughly enjoyed the performance and workshops learning the ancient art of Japanese drumming. It was a beautiful sound!
The performance was supported and organised by the Curtin Primary P&C. Thanks to our Curtin families for their generous support throughout the year and the Curtin PS Admin and teachers for making the day a success!

Today our Year 2/3 class treated us to a fantastic performance as part of the FORM Creative Learning Program. Using Alison Lesterโs book 'Are We There Yet?', students:
- explored literacy by writing their own song
- used technologies to create their own instruments
- connected with HASS by learning about Australiaโs unique places and landmarks
This is our second year being part of FORM's Creative Schools, a program that connects teachers, students and creative practitioners to bring the WA curriculum to life in fun, engaging, and meaningful ways. Through creativity, students build skills like imagination, collaboration, inquisitiveness, persistence and self-discipline, while developing engagement and a deeper love of learning.
A huge thank you to: Vanessa Bradley (Program Lead, Creative Schools), Felicity Groom (Creative Practitioner), Mrs Di Camillo (Class Teacher) and of course, our amazing students!
We are so proud to be building creative communities and making learning come alive at Curtin Primary School.
