A good way to expand your vocabulary for PTE is by creating diagrams.

Start with a common word, (e.g. pollution), and put this at the top of your diagram. Then show the different transformations of this word (e.g. a verb, noun or adjective) and write example sentences. Use a thesaurus or dictionary to help you.
