Did you know OROOSH is a collect point for Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs?

Today we wanted to calculate how many breadtags we would have to donate and using maths and our scales we worked out that:

One bread tag weighs approximately 0.34g

Using this information we estimated that we have

approximately 9,526 bread tags

to donate to such a wonderful charity

If you would like to donate please free to drop them in just ensure they are the plastic ones, cardboard can go in your regular yellow recycling bin at home 🏡

Today some of our educators are attending the Early Childhood Learning and Development Conference held at Optus Stadium for a professional development day. Looking forward to implementing some ideas into our practice

Just a little reminder for our families re vacation care over the summer. We will commence care for st marks st Simon Peter and other private schools that will close for the year early .
Vacation care will commence from Wednesday 7 December and run through until Thursday 22 December. We will be closed for two weeks and reopen on Monday January 9 through til schools reopen for the new school year.

All families must re enrol for the 2023 school year. The enrolment forms will be emailed next week and must be returned before Friday November 5 to secure your place. We will then start accepting new enrolments from outside the service .

In light of the public holiday next Thursday and the following Monday we thought there may be a few families who may take the Friday off as well. Could you please advise us asap if your child/children will not be attending Friday 23 September.
