We spent the afternoon reading 'Walk With us' and subsequently embarked on an adventure at Kings Park where we discovered elements from the book.

We undertook an exploratory journey at Kings Park, uncovering signs related to the indigenous culture. A significant find was a tree previously used for creating spears and boomerangs. The children played a supportive role, helping their mothers gather food, berries, and medicinal plants, as the fathers focused on hunting.
We also learnt what season we are in now Djeran till the end of this month

Following our morning reading session of 'Luna Roo' at the nursing home, the children spent the afternoon creating their own kangaroo crafts and discussing the significance of assistance and teamwork amongst themselves.

The children attended an engaging simultaneous storytime session during our intergenerational morning, featuring the book Luna Roo, which is part of a national reading initiative in Australia, with two accomplished residents taking turns reading, including a retired school teacher.

The children gained valuable insights into Australian fauna and the Rainbow Serpent legend during their zoo visit today while taking in the mural. The encounter with Jelani, who stopped by to greet them, was particularly delightful

Following Bee Day and gaining insight into the significance of bees, the children assisted my dad in planting vegetables and flowers.

In observance of Sorry Day, we read 'Come Together' and explored the indigenous culture. The children then created handprint art for display.
