We’re so excited to share that we’ve teamed up with Little Yoga Socks to give back to YOU! Every family will receive their very own pack of these premium, anti-slip socks 🧦✨

At Marangaroo Child Care Centre, we are proud to stand in support of Wear It Yellow for Children’s Ground.

That week is more than awareness — it’s about raising a generation of children who grow up with respect, understanding, and connection to First Nations cultures, histories, and stories.

Through learning, conversations, and shared experiences, we are helping our children walk gently and respectfully on this land we call home.

We will also be holding a fundraiser to support the incredible work Children’s Ground does for First Nations children, families, and communities.

🤍 A Little Something From Us to Our MCCC Community 🤍

At MCCC, we truly value our incredible families and the beautiful community we’ve built together. As a small way of giving back and supporting one another, we’re so grateful to be able to share something special with you all.

Today, we received a generous food donation from — a wonderful charity that rescues surplus food from supermarkets like Coles and Woolworths and redistributes it to communities in need, instead of letting it go to waste.

All items are still perfectly good to eat, however they are close to their best-before or use-by dates (today, tomorrow, or the following day). As advised by SecondBite, many of these foods can still be safely used if refrigerated or frozen promptly.

We would love to pass this on to our families 🤍
Please feel free to take as much as you need — no questions asked.

This is a small way we can come together, reduce food waste, and support one another during these times.

Little MCCC explorers on a bug hunt 🐞🔍✨

With their very own clipboards and magnifying glasses, our Kindy children independently searched, discovered, and ticked off their findings—turning curiosity into confidence 🌿🦋

The Easter Bunny made a special early visit to MCCC this morning! 🐰✨

The children were filled with excitement as they set off on a joyful Easter egg hunt, working together to discover hidden treasures along the way. It was beautiful to see their collaboration, sharing, and curiosity shine as they explored their environment and supported one another 🤍

Moments like these create not only magical memories, but also meaningful learning experiences that build friendships, teamwork, and a sense of belonging 🌿

Exploring cause and effect through baking 🍪

Today the children took full control of measuring, pouring, problem-solving and experimenting as they created their own cookie mixture. Through hands-on learning, they discovered how different actions lead to different outcomes — from adding too much flour, to realising the mixture needed more milk, and even noticing when the chocolate chips “disappeared.”

This experience supported early STEM thinking, fine motor development, collaboration, and reflective thinking, while building confidence and a strong sense of shared achievement.
