The Leeming Primary School P&C are focused on supporting our school to provide an environment where our children have the best opportunities to learn and achieve their best. The P&C's main focus is keeping the community s

pirit alive by running community events where parents and children can interact. The P&C will also run fundraising activities throughout the year to help raise money for resources and equipment for our school. It works for the wellbeing of all children who attend the school by:
• bringing about a close cooperation between parents, other citizens and staff.
• providing facilities, amenities and other education needs not provided by the Government. The P&C also operates a number of committees such as Fundraising, Canteen and Scholastic Book club. None of these things happen without a dedicated group of volunteers who offer their time to make Leeming Primary School the best school possible for their children. The P&C are always looking for new members to join our friendly team, no matter how much you can help. The P&C meet twice a term and anyone in the school community is welcome to join our meetings. If you would like additional information, please don't hesitate to contact any of the current members.

On Tuesday 17 March, Lighthouse Cyber Security will present an information sessions to students in years 4-6 called "The Changing Face of AI"

Lighthouse Cyber Security will also offer a PARENT INFORMATION SESSSION.

Leeming Primary P&C Easter Raffle – Donations 🐰

The Leeming Primary P&C is excited to be hosting our annual Easter Raffle!

We are kindly seeking donations of:
-Easter eggs and sweet treats
-Non-edible Easter-themed activities or toys
-Gift bags or baskets, cellophane wrap, and ribbon

All donated items can be placed in the collection box at the school office.

Donations will be accepted until Friday, 27 March 2026.

🗓️ Mark your calendars! Our upcoming P&C Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Monday, February 10th at 7pm.

📍 The meeting will be held in person at the LPS meeting room, located directly behind the senior playground.

🌟 At the AGM, all roles within the P&C will be considered vacant. Anyone is welcome to nominate and positions will be elected at the AGM.

The first ordinary P&C meeting of 2026 will follow immediately after the AGM.

👪 We would love to see some new faces! So please come along and find out what the P&C is all about 🙂

Between our fundraising and voluntary contributions we have raised over $35k 😱😱

This isn’t possible without our executive committee who work tirelessly behind the scenes! Thanks to Nicole, Nat, Liz, Leigh, Lenka, Jade & Casie. And to all our other amazing members and volunteers. None of our events are possible without you!

Then to our school - who support our events and ideas.

Then to you - our community. We thank you for all your support. Whether it’s buying a raffle ticket, ordering a sausage sizzle, donating baked goods for cake stalls and uniforms to our second hand shop, or your valuable time…it all makes a difference.

We have been able to fund many things this year. Some of them include:

📚 Library refurbishment
🎶 Music room equipment
🎖️Anzac Day musician
🏃‍♂️ Sporting equipment
🌱 Community garden

❄️❄️❄️ For 2026 we have committed to air conditioning our entire school - starting with Cluster 3 already locked it & funded. We aim to get the rest of the school upgraded in the next year! We hope you can help us!

📆 Our first meeting for 2026 will be Tuesday 10 February 2026. Come along and join the fun!
