Thank you Samson Primary School for that special acknowledgment on P&C Day 🤩

At our last committee meeting, the school generously catered food and drinks and we were welcomed by notes and floral decorations handmade by the very talented Ms Wilson to celebrate our contributions 🌸

Falling within National Volunteer Week, we recognise that all our P&C members are volunteers. They juggle work, parenting, caring, school, sports and everyday life to commit to their various roles on the P&C.

They attend meetings, write the minutes, balance the books, organise events, fundraise and communicate with families.

Today we celebrate our P&C committee members, past and present, for all their hard work and contributions 🩵

MUM’S NIGHT OUT 🎉

We had almost 80 Mum’s from our Samson school community join us for our Mother’s Day Sundowner at Swan Yacht Club on Friday 🥂

It was a lovely opportunity for everyone to chat (without the interruptions!) eat, drink and enjoy a relaxed evening by the river 🌅

The lucky winners of our door prizes were:

🌸 Julie B.. who took home the hamper filled with goodies generously donated by Sook Yee Lai MLA

🌸 Mel A.. who won the digital Entertainment membership.

A huge thank you to our event organisers, Nadia and Kate, and the rest of the P&C committee for all their time and effort to make sure the evening ran smoothly 👏🏼

We appreciate the support of our Samson school community and we look forward to seeing you all at our next event!

📣UNIFORM SHOP UPDATE

👕 Our polos have finally arrived! If you have been waiting to order a polo head onto Spriggy now and get your order in 🛒

There have also been a few enquiries❓about when the winter school jackets will be ready. The order was placed with the supplier as soon as the order period closed, so we anticipate they will be ready around 26 May. So not long to go now!

Unfortunately the cold weather has arrived before they have, which is not ideal 🥶 We appreciate your patience and apologise for the inconvenience.

Keep an eye 👀 on Class Dojo and here on our P&C page - we will announce when they have arrived and 📆 when and where you will be able to collect them.

IT’S ALMOST TIME 🌅

If you’ve bought tickets to our Mother’s Day sundowner, this is the beautiful hamper you could be lucky enough to take home 🎀

Generously donated by Sook Yee Lai MLA, our main door prize is filled with plenty of goodies to spoil you 🫶🏼

There’s also the second door prize of a digital Entertainment membership with up to $20,000 worth of savings on dining, shopping 🛍️ and activities.

As we’ve now finalised numbers with the venue, we’re unfortunately unable to provide any refunds. If for some reason you can no longer make it, check if there is another Mum who may be able to take your ticket 🎟️

👕 TERM 2 UNIFORM SHOP UPDATE 🛒

📌 The Uniform Shop opened for the first time this term earlier in the week on Wednesday 22 April. At this stage, there will be no set opening days for the remainder of the term.

However, if you need to look 👀 before ordering, please contact Jess 📧 [email protected] to organise a suitable time to come in.

📌 Unfortunately there was an issue on the suppliers end with our polos, and these look to still be 2 weeks away. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

📌 We’re now just days away from the ❄️ winter jacket pre orders closing after the long weekend on Monday 27 April. We can confirm that minimum numbers have been reached ✔️ which means the order will definitely go ahead. So get in and place your pre order on Spriggy now 🛍️
