More dump digging today
This time doing a bit of exploring and digging here and there. Plenty of relics today, coins, marbles ect
Loads of bottles too, mostly junk apart from one unusual one that dad found. A 6 oz Coxons bottle all the way from Northam! Long way from home
In amazing condition too.

Will post some clean up photos tomorrow…

Found a nice little 6 oz stokes kangaroo yesterday. Along with a few other relics from a small farm dump out bush. Not an uncommon bottle but nice to dig up something a little different. 👍

Went on an adventure to an old permission today.
Early to mid 20s house site we’ve hit a fair few times and we still managed some relics! Including our first dog rego tag in what feels like forever
Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll ever know the date on it but you can make out the locality (local) and the number (No 15)

Went for abit of a dig today.
First time in a good while. Should be doing more digging soon though guys!
Not a whole heap today on the bottle front. Did get a nice condition 1969 pat pyro coke though, and a Victorian wine bottle.
The stack of old records was a bit of a surprise too!
Can quite make out what they where unfortunately.

Biggest surprise by far though digging in a 1960s dump would be the massive sadly broken Cuming Smith fertiliser flagon. Shame it wasn’t whole but it was huge so hardly surprising, I’ll do some research on the company and see what I can find 👍

Out for a swing today at an old bush hut site!
Finally got out for a few hours. Nothing major but it was nice to have a swing…
Finds of the day would be the shot penny and BLKs silver ring
Not bad for our effort 😁

Here’s a little post of afew of our military finds so far for 2026 Anzac Day. Haven’t found a whole lot so far but the rising sun and possible RAAF sweetheart brooch are pretty good. Hopefully find lots more this year, once we get a few new permissions..

A few bits and pieces form one of our older permission.
Got a new permission lined up for the near future.
Most of our current permissions have been hunted out. Part of the reason why we haven’t been out much
Once where on some virgin ground we’ll be out more again. 👍

Well it’s been way to long since we last got out.
Life’s been busy lately but we managed a little swing the other day. Not much interesting particularly but this caught my eye. I believe it was a halfpenny, can’t make out any details because it’s been badly burned but I recon it’s been shot
And not by any bucket either
Judging off the size of the hole I’d say this was shot by a 50 cal. I could be wrong and please do let me know you’re thoughts on this one but it looks to big for anything like a rifle or pistol round.
Could’ve also been a piece of machinery but judging off the way it’s blossomed outward I’d say it was a projectile
But what do you guys think 🤔

Quick swing after work this arvo Few bits and bobs 👍

All of the finds from yesterdays dig.
Some great pieces. The two best being the sailor brooch and the wings brooch. I’m not sure but the wings one might be a RAAF sweetheart brooch? Let me know what you think
Plenty of coins, badges and relics
Quite a productive little spot. Don’t usually do so well at these kind of bush sites

Definitely head back there soon 👍
