Congratulations on another fantastic episode of the Energy Connect series! One of our main motivations for supporting the Energy Club WA in creating this series was to inspire and educate those entering the energy sector.
Mark’s insights on how the industry is evolving and the idea that the only limit is your imagination are truly inspiring. That mindset should energize the next generation of talented professionals and innovators.
Looking forward to seeing how this series continues to spark passion and new ideas in the energy industry!

Last Thursday at the Energy Club WA was truly memorable. Change was in the air as Bernadette Cullinane gracefully stepped down as President, passing the torch to Jop van Hattum, who now takes the helm as her successor. For those curious about Jop's journey, one of his initial roles was as a roughneck on jack-up rigs on the Dutch continental shelf. To delve deeper into his fabulous story, check out this link:

A special mention goes to Brett Woods, the Keynote speaker of the evening and the CEO & Managing Director of Beach Energy Ltd. Brett's vision and commitment to utilizing cutting-edge technologies not only propel his company forward but also pave the way for advancements in the sector as a whole. With trailblazers like Brett, the Energy sector in our country is poised for a robust future.
Additionally, it marked Project Materials Australia Pty Ltd's inaugural event as a corporate sponsor. Our team had a fantastic time, and we extend our gratitude to the event sponsors, Fyfe Pty Ltd and Rystad Energy. We eagerly anticipate being part of the Energy Club WA and contributing to the enriching networking and educational endeavors they champion at these gatherings.
Looking forward to the next rendezvous. Stay tuned for more enriching experiences.

We were looking for a photo to commemorate ANZAC DAY, and the team loved the below photo, over the more classical ones. We looked at this gentleman and thought about all the things he must have experienced both good and bad. Lest We Forget.

Great News
Project Materials Australia Pty Ltd has just signed up to be one of the sponsors of the Energy Club WA's annual Golf Day (yep that's 7 years in a row). Now it isn’t until November, so you’re probably thinking we’ve gone a bit early. But from experience we know you’ll need some time to practice. So hit the golf range and we’ll see you on the other side of winter. And yes, there will be a major prize to celebrate our 7th year as a sponsor. In the meantime enjoy some photos from past years.
If you spot yourself in one of our Golf Day photos from the past six years, we’ll send you a Deep Woods Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Rated wine of the year @ the 2024 WA Wine Awards. Enjoy. We only have 12 bottles so be quick!
And a big thankyou to the Energy Club WA for organising this annual event, it's one of our favourites.
