Australia's Biggest Morning Tea

Today we held The Biggest Morning Tea at Kids Active, every dollar we raised through our yummy morning tea helps fund Cancer Councils life-saving research, prevention, support programs, and information.

We are so over welcomed with the kind donations from our amazing families so far 👪

Special thanks to our Chefs Charmaine and Gemma for the great spread.

We are hosting Australia's Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday the 25th of May, Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is an opportunity for people to get together, enjoy each other's company, have some fun and raise funds to support people impacted by cancer.
Each morning tea is as unique as the stories behind it, just know that every cuppa is making a life-changing difference to those affected by cancer.

We will provide a yummy breakfast on the go from 6:30am-9:30am

Today our Larvae Room were lucky to have their parents come in to join them for a morning mat session and share their cultural backgrounds with the rest of our Larvae friends.

One parent brought in a very special book that had different Indigenous animals. They also placed tapping sticks and drums on the ground for the babies, they all loved tapping the sticks together and hit the drums using the sticks. This was a very special and magical moment to have parents spend the morning with us and also share their cultural backgrounds.

Interacting with different cultural backgrounds allows us to understand and appreciate other people's ethnicity. What's more, you will also learn invaluable stories from one another and master the art of appreciating your own culture from a different perspective.Having respect for diversity in our childcare enables educators to celebrate differences and encourage families to participate in cultural programs and events. These simple acts not only empower the child to build their own self-esteem but they also model and promote a culture of inclusive practice.

💧Water Play💧

The children enjoy playing on our amazing water slide.
Water play activities help to develop strengthen children's gross and fine motor skills. Children enhance their gross motor skills, coordination and physical fitness.
We embed water play into our weekly program while the sun is still shining.
