DAY 4| My Artist Way. Hiatus Post.

I have been doing a bit of reflection during this period, and for those who follow my content, truly sorry for the hiatus.

I have taken my time the past two weeks to work on more content and catching up with the family in Perth, Western Australia. (I am based in Singapore if you didn't know) Life can be pretty hectic, and sometimes, it is good to slow down.

Today I just felt like sharing my little reflection in regards to understanding my Artist Way. What do I mean by that? We are all Artist and a creative, one way or another, and often times, we neglect that part of us. I have been neglecting it really bad lately and it has taken a toll on me. Not understanding why I was so restless, and even so, distracted was because I haven't spent any time trying to work on anything art or creative related. I have been working on the business very much and neglecting my own inner Artist. The Universe had shown me so many signs in terms of telling me that I need to start making time for my creative self. I didn't understand at first. But I saw it after a while.

I picked up the guitar and started singing.. I played the piano and tried to compose a small tune. I start sketching, oh how I missed that as well. And finally, I realised that, sometimes, having some time alone to yourself and doing reflections in regards to life (whether or not you'd want to share it and make it public) is important. It doesn't mean you have to be absolutely alone, without the presence of someone else. Having to be able to zone out and have a good focus on reflecting works too.

But this was my Artist Way, I have to sit down and always create something new every once in a while to help me be a better individual. Whether it's something new, innovation, or just anything in between those as well. Everyone has a different of keeping their mojo going, I guess, we all have to realised that we are all creative individuals in the end. What keeps you going? What is your Artist Way?
