🌿 Did you know we welcome children from 18 months?

Even though we’re known as Applecross Pre‑Kindy & Kindy — and many families think of us as a program for 3‑year‑olds — our service actually supports children from 18 months right through to Kindy.

We are a Pre‑Kindy, but with the added benefit of offering a long day care program, giving families the flexibility they need while still providing a calm, intentional, early‑learning environment.

Starting at 18 months allows children to:
✨ Build strong foundations in a familiar, nurturing space
✨ Form secure relationships with educators
✨ Grow confidence and independence at their own pace
✨ Transition smoothly into our Pre‑Kindy and then Kindy programs

It means your child can begin their learning journey early, gently, and with the continuity that helps them truly thrive.

A Director Who Wears Many Hats — and Cares Deeply About All of Them

One of the greatest privileges of my role is hearing from families who feel truly seen, supported and connected here at Applecross Pre‑Kindy. Feedback like this reminds me why I do what I do — and why I lead the way I do.

For over 15 years, I’ve worked in the education and care sector, not only as a director but also as an investor and a mother. Those three perspectives shape everything I pour into Applecross Pre‑Kindy.

I know what it feels like to entrust your child to someone else.

I know what it takes to build a high‑quality service from the inside out.

And I know that none of it works without educators who feel appreciated, supported and genuinely happy in their workplace.

My goal has always been to blend these hats — business, leadership and motherhood — to create a centre where:

🌿 Educators feel valued, have opportunities for growth, are respected and proud of the work they do
🌿 Children feel safe, confident and excited to walk through the door each day
🌿 Families feel connected, informed and truly part of our community
🌿 The wider community knows us as a place of warmth, trust and belonging

Applecross Pre‑Kindy is more than a service — it’s a place where people want to work, where children love to learn and play, and where families feel held and supported through every stage of their journey.

At Applecross Pre‑Kindy & Kindy, we make sure our families feel supported, informed, and genuinely connected. We use our app every day to share updates about your child’s learning, routines, and experiences — but we also deeply value the conversations that happen face‑to‑face at drop‑off and pick‑up.

Those moments matter. They help us understand your child, your family, and how we can best support their growth, transitions, and future goals. When families and educators communicate openly, children feel it — they settle more confidently, explore more boldly, and thrive within a strong, consistent team around them.

And just like our children, we love the chatter. Their questions, their stories, their curious observations — it’s all learning, all connection, all part of how they make sense of their world.
