Congratulations to the 2024 FCM on their graduation today! We are so proud of them and so grateful for the opportunity to walk with them as they’ve experienced and then represented so well God’s heart for healing and restoration. We send them forward to their bright futures trusting that God will go with them and partner with them to bring His love to the nations. 💛

Our FCM team has been spending the last few weeks working alongside a team in the Middle East! One thing the Lord has been putting on our hearts during our time here is to support the local, long term workers. Serving long term is extremely rewarding, yet can also be very challenging and exhausting. Therefore, it is very important to us (especially as a counseling school) to try to provide these long termers, (many of them young families) with the support and care they need to be able to continue on. This has included providing child care so couples can have a date, painting the local center, taking on organization responsibilities, debriefing and even proving a seminar on the subject of well-being. We have been so privileged to work alongside these amazing people, and witness their faithfulness and dedication to the country they serve in!

This past week our FCM worked in a small village. Ministry consisted of a hut to hut visit, counseling sessions with the people, and sharing lessons at a local discipleship course. The Lord performed multiple signs and wonders this week, from a previously paralyzed woman being able to walk after prayer, to multiple Muslim people accepting Jesus. The Lord performed a great work in the village last week, and the team continues to hear about testimonies of healings, even after leaving the area! The Lord is faithful!!

Our YWAM Perth FCM team has been in Uganda for a little over a week!! During week one, the team spent much of their time travelling by plane, bus and car. Near the end of the week they began working with Reconciliation Gate Ministries in Arua, Uganda! They had the privilege of working alongside this ministry in a children's prison, sharing the message of hope and discipling the young teenagers encountered there. Many gave their lives to the Lord! Praise God!!

Last Friday the FCM students went out into the community of Perth and did an amazing job witnessing and showing the love of Jesus to the aboriginals here in Perth. As servants of the lord we are all called to love ALL people who are in need.

The heartbeat of the FCM is that our greatest need is to be reconciled to our creator through Jesus Christ - this is the ministry that God gave us and the scripture for this year’s school, 2 Corinthians 5:20! We live this out by going out into our community each week and trusting God for opportunities to share God’s love with the people of Perth, Australia.
