Our 3rd Student Committee Meeting gave students the opportunity to share valuable feedback on teaching, learning, student welfare, and campus life at Murdoch College.

As a unique representative body within the College, the committee empowers students to contribute directly to shaping their experience and community. Discussions highlighted both positive experiences and opportunities to continue improving academic and non-academic support for students. April moments at Murdoch College ✌️

The City of Perth hosted many fun activities this April including the Italian Festival at Langley Park. The festival was filled with mouth-watering food and traditional dances that Pao and his friends enjoyed. While out and about, he passed by the Boola Katijin building at Murdoch University with its eye catching distinctive design.

On a sunny day at Murdoch College campus, Jineh, who is preparing to study Chiropractic Science in Murdoch University, attended his lab classes before making a visit to the Murdoch Village pool.

🎉 Great news for students and commuters in Perth.

The WA Government has confirmed that free Sunday travel across all metro buses, trains and ferries is here to stay, with significant investment committed in the upcoming State Budget.

Since its launch in 2024, more than 8 million passengers have already benefited. Public transport usage is also on the rise, with a record 15.7 million trips recorded in March 2026.

Initiatives like this highlight how accessible transport can support student life, making it easier to get to campus, work and explore new opportunities.

Congratulations to 86 Tokyo City University (TCU) students! They have successfully completed the English language component of their studies at Murdoch College and progressed to Murdoch University for the next stage of their semester abroad. 🎓✨

As part of the TCU Australia Program, students spend 14 weeks at Murdoch — beginning with 7 weeks of intensive English, followed by 6 weeks of academic study — all while remaining enrolled at their home university in Japan.

A special congratulations to the 7 recipients of the Exceptional Effort Award, with one student recognised from each class for their outstanding dedication and commitment throughout the program. 👏

We’re also honoured that the TCU Australia Program has been recognised as part of the 50th Anniversary of the Japan-Australia Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation, co-sponsored by both governments. It is a true reflection of the strong and enduring partnership between the two nations. 🌏
