This is a YA, partly historical fantasy adventure set in two time frames. Birgit de Merlinus, is trapped on one world in both present and past where one time influences the others. Today she is an orphan and student becomes a pawn of the old Gods/ Goddesses to undergo a question that first commenced in the Roman England. As a student of the present day and ward to Professor Merlinus, she undergoes
a Past Life Regression that takes her back to the time of the departure of the Romans. It was a lawless time and she is taken from her realm to test her gifts to assist Merlin, but fails due to her youth, the result is that tribe she was to assist are sent forth in time. Cerridwen demands their return and Birgit is chosen to be the Seeker to do so. She is unwilling, she wishes to complete her studies and is prey to dark forces and the fey. Her High Priestess initiates her to give her protection. Is it too late, but an aunt who she has never seen invites her to Melbourne to stay. It gives her a chance to catch up on her grades and complete some second degree Wiccan and Druidic studies. She accepts, where she meets with Bran, a Druid who tells her the quest will begin at Samhain, to be ready. However, she has more tests to pass and the Faery Queen and Prince Gadaelph of the Elven World are unsure of her gifts. What is she to do. She has no choice, she has been chosen......
