Nido Early School Belmont

We have been focusing on giving back within our community at Nido Belmont. Over the last few weeks our families have brought in boots that do not fit anymore to swap for a new pair. A great way to support each other and reduce waste. ♻️

Little hands, Big Imaginations🍂🌿

Through clay play and natural resources, Our children were creating magical clay artwork by their own ideas while building confident and problem-solving skills.

Children explored sensory textures, shapes and storytelling while expressing their creativity into imaginative way.

In our kinder room the children are always exploring the different branches of our Nid kinder curriculum. The kinder children have been exploring numbers through loose parts, counting, number recognition, sorting and looking at patterns and sequences were a few of the concepts explored through this invitation to play 🧮

This year for Mother’s Day we have given the gift of time.

Each classroom has thoughtfully created a gift that can we taken home and enjoyed together!

The children in classroom 4 gifted a creative play dough bag. This family had so much fun creating and spending time doing this together. The children have also been invited to share their experience on Storypark so we can extend on the learning from home at the service ✨✨

On ANZAC Day we pause to remember and honour the courage and sacrifice of all those who have served and continue to serve our country. We reflect with gratitude on their bravery and the freedoms we enjoy because of them. Lest we forget.

FRESH PRODUCE 🪴🫛🌿

How exciting some more produce was ready to harvest this week! Our wonderful families and team were able to take a variety of lettuce and basil home today. We are hoping to continue providing to our community this way

Our Classroom 5 children had a wonderful time exploring our mini garden 🌱

They discovered fresh veggies and herbs with excitement and curiosity, using their senses to smell, touch, and feel different textures. The children observed how tiny seeds grow into plants and carefully practiced picking vegetables, placing them gently into their baskets.

To make it even more special, they shared their harvest with our lovely chef to make a fresh salad 🥗

A beautiful hands on experience that helps children connect with nature while learning patience and responsibility 💚

A moment to say thank you and happy Easter to our wonderful team! Their hard work and dedication through the first quarter of the year has not gone unnoticed so today we celebrated them by enjoying an Easter themed morning tea!
