NEW PROGRAM: COOL KIDS
Does your child worry a lot, feel anxious in new situations, or sometimes find their worries hard to manage?

Our new Cool Kids Program is designed to help children aged between 7 and 12 years understand anxiety, build confidence and learn practical skills to manage worries.

📆 Thursdays from 3 September (10-week program)
🕛 4.30 – 5.30pm
📍 KEYS, Level 1, Darius Wells Library and Resource Centre

The program will provide a safe, supportive space where children can learn about anxiety and develop strategies they can use in everyday life. Up to 10 families will take part, with one consistent parent or special person supporting their child throughout the program.

The program will be facilitated by Laura, a KEYS team member and experienced counsellor with more than 20 years’ experience supporting children and families.

We only have a few spaces left, and the program commences this Thursday, so we encourage families who are interested to complete our short Expression of Interest survey as soon as possible.

This week, we celebrate and say a huge THANK YOU to the incredible Education Assistants at Bertram Primary School! 🌟

Our EAs are such an important part of our Bertram community. Every day, they bring patience, compassion, flexibility, humour and care to our classrooms and playgrounds. They support learning, regulate big emotions, celebrate the small wins, encourage independence, build confidence and create safe spaces for our students to thrive.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated team of EAs who go above and beyond for our students, staff and families.

To every one of our Bertram EAs… Thank you for the difference you make, the relationships you build and the care you bring to our school every single day!

We see you. We appreciate you. And Bertram PS wouldn’t be the same without you! 🥰

📣 BPS P&C Father's Day Stall will be held on Tuesday 1st Sept, Wednesday 2nd Sept & Thursday 3rd Sept!

💰 Items are priced between $1 and $10 CASH ONLY. Please send students with their money in a labelled purse, wallet or snap lock bag and a reusable carry bag for students to place their items in.

The stall will be open straight after school on Thursday 3rd Sept, for parents who would like to make eftpos purchases or for any students who miss their class session.

A big thank you to everyone who continually supports the library by donating books and buying from Book Club and Book Fair. 💕

Opening times are before and after school until 3pm. Then Open Night and Friday morning the 4th Sept until 9am.
