One year of The Nature of Learning Program 🌿✨
What began with one family of four has grown into a beautiful community of over 20 families and over 30 children, supported by an amazing team.
In just one year, we’ve created something truly special together. A place where hands-on learning meets explicit teaching, where children are supported to grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.
Our creative, open-minded team and high ratios allow for meaningful one-to-one support, helping each child feel safe, connected, and ready to learn.
Through rich small-group experiences, purposeful play, and guided learning moments, we’ve also seen friendships blossom and a strong sense of belonging take root.
Thank you to every family who has trusted us and been part of this journey. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings 🌱🤗
Write Foundations
Bringing solution-based foundations for education in literacy, numeracy & SEL. Learning doesn't happen without a safe environment and healthy connections.
Every Thursday in our 7-16 year old group, the kitchen becomes a classroom.
🥄🍴 Sweet & savoury!
Our cooking sessions build so much more than recipes of their choice. Students develop maths skills through measuring, reading and following instructions, recipe recall, sequencing, teamwork, communication and growing independence.
This video is a compilation of some of the delicious creations we’ve made throughout last term, alongside the meaningful learning that happens in every session.
At The Nature of Learning, we believe the best learning is hands-on, purposeful and connected to real life. 🌱
🤗 We want to say a heartfelt thank you to our incredible families, students, and community for walking alongside us this year. It has been a joy to witness growth, curiosity, confidence, and connection through our learning spaces.
As you step into the holiday season, we wish you a time of rest, renewal, and rich moments together.
Looking ahead to Term One 2026, we’re excited to the opening of an additional day and extending our program to include 13 - 16 year olds, creating more opportunities for meaningful, relational, and connected learning.
🌱 Our official waitlist is now open for families interested in joining The Nature of Learning program in 2026.
From all of us at Write Foundations, thank you for being part of this journey. We can’t wait to welcome new and returning families into another inspiring year of learning.
Wishing you a peaceful holiday break and a hope-filled start to the year ahead ✨

I love that we've created a space where kids can feel safe to express themselves creatively. This is why we are called, 'The Nature of Learning' - where we find a place of rest in order for learning to flow.

Back for Term 4 🌿
Our community has settled beautifully back into the rhythm of Term 4! Separation from parents was smooth for all, and the children were excited to reconnect, ready to learn, play, and grow together.
At The Nature of Learning program, we welcome children from ages 3 to 12. While each age group enjoys their own learning space and tailored activities, they can come together for breaks and play times, building a strong sense of community and belonging.

🌱 The Nature of Learning 🌱
Learning doesn’t always look like worksheets or desks.
It looks like hands-on, sensory-rich experiences that spark curiosity. It looks like exploring textures, experimenting with colour, and discovering how the world responds to our touch.
🖌️ When children engage in open-ended, flexible learning, they’re not just making “art” - they’re building problem-solving skills, fine motor strength, creativity, and confidence.
Out here, there’s space to explore, freedom to create, and room to wonder.
Because learning isn’t about rushing to the next step - it’s about flourishing in the present moment. 🌿✨

Picture a reality where children are never rushed but given the time and space to grow at their own pace. A place where learning flows naturally - because it’s built on how we as humans; children are wired to learn best.
🌱 At The Nature of Learning, we know that when children are calm, regulated, and feel safe, their brains are ready to thrive:
✔️ Their prefrontal cortex is switched on for problem-solving and creativity
✔️ Their parasympathetic nervous system is at rest, so stress doesn’t block learning
✔️ Their curiosity and confidence can flourish
That’s why our Term 4 program creates a safe, nurturing environment where children are truly seen - their uniqueness celebrated, their voices valued, and their learning feels natural.
👩🏫 With qualified, caring tutors and a 1:5 ratio, every child receives the attention they need - supported, guided, and encouraged.
💛 And you don’t just have to imagine it - your child can experience it with a FREE trial session to see if it’s the right fit.
