It was such a joy being in Italy in June. Exploring smaller towns and back roads made all the difference. We stumbled across so many beautiful little villages and some bustling towns, but never encountered the lines and crowds that sadly overwhelm Rome, Florence and the Amalfi coast in summer. It was easier to do this when you drive but I’ve got so many suggestions for places to visit that are also on the train lines. 🇮🇹😊🚘
