What an incredible Saturday morning at the annual Old Boys vs 1st XV Cross Country Race!
A fantastic turnout from the Old Boys this year with 24 registrations spanning cohort years from 1990 through to 2025 - our biggest field yet. The numbers are growing, the momentum is building, and we are already looking ahead to an even bigger team in 2027 as we chase that elusive cup! ๐
An amazing effort on the course, with the first three runners across the line all being Old Boys:
๐ฅ Christophe Garner ('23)
๐ฅ Lucas Koh ('23)
๐ฅ Will Lewis ('25)
Special mention to the enthusiastic Class of 2015, who are already rallying the troops and trying to reunite their full original cross country team for the 2027 race. We canโt wait to see it!
It was also fantastic to see so many mums and dads out there running alongside the current team, creating such a great atmosphere and spirit around the event.
A huge thank you and well done to Mr Marai and our CCGS Old Boy coaches, who turned out in force and helped make the morning such a success. ๐๐๐๐

There is something truly special about welcoming Old Boys back to CCGS.
Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Jesse Hall ('75), visiting from Chicago, and Justin God ('09), visiting from Singapore, as they returned to walk the School grounds with their families.
What always amazes us is just how vivid the memories remain , no matter how many years have passed. The stories they share, the friendships they remember, and the sense of belonging and connection to the School all sound so familiar across every generation of Old Boys. Many return with countless stories and memories from their school days, and it is always wonderful hearing them brought back to life as they walk around the campus once again.
Jesse was disappointed to miss his 50 Year Reunion last year, however during this visit he was able to reconnect and catch up with old friends Peter Hammond, Rod OโDea, John Tregonning and Peter Moran, a reminder that the friendships formed at CCGS truly last a lifetime.
While the campus continues to grow and evolve, the feeling of being part of the CCGS community never changes. It is also always wonderful when reunion year groups begin their celebrations with a short tour of the School, giving classmates the opportunity to revisit old memories together and see how the campus has developed over the years.
If you are planning a visit back to CCGS, please reach out to the Alumni Office so we can arrange for someone to walk you around the campus and share how the School continues to grow for future generations.

The Class of 1973 recently came together to celebrate a wonderful milestone of turning 70 as a cohort.
Held at the Claremont Hotel, the lunch saw an incredible 45 Old Boys gather for an afternoon filled with laughter, memories, stories, and friendship. It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout and the enduring connections that continue more than 50 years after leaving the College.
These reunions are a reminder that the bonds formed at school truly last a lifetime. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day so special.
