The biggest open day that Rothwood has ever had!
Join us and a few of our preferred vendors for a magnificent open day within the gardens of Rothwood. Upon arrival receive a complimentary bubbles, beer or water to enjoy while you take a tour throughout the homestead, ceremony areas and reception marquee. As you walk through the gardens, you'll have the chance to meet vendors, including:

Fantastic news and a big deal for the garden folks

The City is thrilled to announce Clare Palmer as the newest recipient of the Local Hero Award, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to our community through her invaluable work at the Kalamunda Community Garden. 🌱🌞

Clare has been the heart and soul of the cherished Community Garden since it began, marking a remarkable 10-year anniversary milestone last October. Clare generously shares her knowledge through talks and workshops, warmly welcoming newcomers and spreading her passion for gardening and food growing.

Lisa Passmore, Secretary of the Kalamunda Community Garden, acknowledges Clare's significant contribution: “As a founder, Clare envisioned a space where nature and community could thrive together. Her leadership has shaped the garden into a flourishing haven we cherish today. Now, as the coordinator of the Little Sprouts program, Clare continues to inspire our youngest gardeners.”
