By now, settlement agents should already have a clear picture of what their AML/CTF program will look like and starting to think about testing those processes on real files.

1 July 2026 is not the starting point, it’s the finish line.

Any matters you take on before that date which continue past 1 July will need to show clear evidence that your AML program has been applied. Waiting until the last minute simply won’t work.
