Details for the funeral of Darren Jones:
We invite you to join us in celebrating his incredible life and saying our goodbyes on Wednesday the 18th of December from 10:30am – 12:00pm at Fremantle Cemetery.
We will meet in the Purdie Pavilion at 10:20am to set up a Guard of Honour entrance to the West Chapel.
Following the service, we warmly invite you to join us for light refreshments at the Kalamunda Football Club in Lesmurdie from 1:30pm.
Many of you have described Dad as a true family man and a loveable larrikin who touched the lives of so many, and in honour of Dad's spirit, we think he would love to see people in sporting club merch from the respective club you met him, bright Hawaiian shirts or even high vis workwear.
We thank you for the love and support you’ve shown our family during this time.

Fr Bernard was an open and approachable priest. His ministry was characterised by a warm and friendly pastoral approach, able to use his own sensitivities to connect with people very effectively. We thank God for Fr Bernard’s faithful service to the Australia Province and Church for over 59 years.
