There’s something so satisfying about transforming ordinary pasta into vibrant sensory play! 💛

All you need is:
🍝 Dry pasta
🌈 Food colouring
🫙 A container

Simply add your pasta, a few drops of food colouring and mix, mix, mix! Spread it out to dry and it’s ready for endless sensory play.

✨ Simple play, big learning! ✨

Looking for an easy activity to keep little hands busy? Save this one for later! 💛

Our little learners loved exploring this colourful dyed rice investigation box, using tongs to search, sort and rescue hidden treasures. What looks like simple play is actually building so many important skills!

🌈 How to create it:
• Dye uncooked rice using food colouring and a splash of vinegar, then allow it to dry completely.
• Fill a tray or box with layers of coloured rice.
• Hide small toys, figurines or loose parts throughout.
• Add child-friendly tongs or tweezers and let the investigation begin!

As children squeeze, grasp and carefully pick up each item, they’re strengthening the small muscles in their hands, developing hand-eye coordination, concentration and problem-solving skills, all while having fun through play.
