Asam Pedas Ikan Tenggiri (Spicy & Sour Mackerel) is a classic Malay dish. Mackerel cutlets are cooked in a broth of dried chilli, shallots, lemongrass, shrimp paste (belacan), torch ginger (bunga kantan) & laksa leaf (daun kesum). Add tomatoes & okras and you have a complete meal! Recipes may slightly differ from individuals but these are the common ingredients. Always a hit among Malaysians! HAPPY MONDAY :)
