Our Premiere Night Screening 1 was on Sunday! At this screening, at The Windsor Cinema, our Short Stuff, Beginner and Intermediate Screen Actors, Filmmakers and Animators got to see their work on the big screen.

Congratulations to Ayla Koele who has been nominated for Best Performance (under 18) at the WA Made Student Awards for her role as Millie the Front Desk Lady in The Mini Office.

We are also excited to announce that Catherine Anastasia, Filmbites Alum and instructor, has been nominated for Best Director for her film Holding. The film has also been nominated in many other categories, including Best Film.

We are excited to announce that 3 Filmbites films are screening at the WA Made Film Festival! Pistachio Cobbler, The Mini Office and Monster will be shown at the Family Flicks Screening on the 22nd of February.

This is a very exciting time for our film industry! We think WA has always been one of the best places in the world to make movies, and now we finally have the facilities to do it on a larger scale. And it's just a few minutes drive from our home in Malaga!

We are looking forward to seeing many of our students - former and current - working at these studios and we can't wait to see what new stories come out of our wonderful state because of it!
