Congratulations to the winners and recognised centres at the 2026 Waterwise Awards today 🏆

These awards celebrate the people and facilities leading the way in smarter water use across Western Australia. Since 2012, the Waterwise Aquatic Centre Program has supported 62 aquatic centres across WA to improve water efficiency and help build a more sustainable future.

🥇 Cockburn ARC was named Platinum Waterwise Aquatic Centre of the Year, recognised for achieving major water savings through innovation and smart operational management.

Gold recognition was also awarded to the three City of Karratha's aquatic facilities - for best-practice water management, while three centres received new Waterwise endorsement:
🔹 Narrogin Regional Leisure Centre
🔹 Katanning Aquatic Centre
🔹 Lake Grace Swimming Pool

The awards also recognised Steve Reeves from the City of Belmont for his outstanding contribution to water sustainability and leadership within the industry.

The Awards are a fantastic reflection of the sector’s commitment to a more sustainable, waterwise future.
