My name's Jon, I have a Bachelors of Science degree with an extended major in Maths and for the past 3 years I’ve been tutoring a very wide range of students and professionals in maths and statistics. A recent focus of my tutoring has been on helping undergrad and post grad students in biostatistics. In addition to that and the standard undergrad maths/stats subjects (psych stats, calculus, linear algebra etc.) I’ve also tutored a number of people looking to sit the GMAT exam to get into business school. My main strength as a tutor lies in the fact that I’m very patient with students. I can explain the content from different angles until it sinks in in a way you understand. I’m a problem solver that likes to break down a concept and explain it as simply as possible. For most unit material, I have my own set of notes that summarises the material and the main concepts, which I find helps students greatly.
