Ukulele Clubs
We have a FEW rare spots open in our ukulele clubs!

The Good Eggs Ukulele Club is a ukulele community that is part friendship and part learning (because music is meant to be shared!)

These are small groups of students – mainly in person (some online.)

It is a place to:
- Solidify what you know
- Learn new chords
- Expand your strumming
- Learn new songs (different groups have done Hallelujah, Hound Dog, Edelweiss, Sway amongst maany others)
- Grow in friendships!

These clubs have people of varying abilities & will cater for beginners to intermediate – you can come for the 6 weeks (one term), or for all 4 terms. It's a roll-on club with new skills, songs & focus each term with the main aim to create a solid group of players.

DAY:
1. MONDAY 6pm - 6.40pm (intermediate) OR
2. MONDAY 6.50pm – 7.30pm (beginners) OR
3. THURSDAY 6pm – 6.40pm (beginners) OR
4. THURSDAY 6.50pm - 7.30pm (intermediate +)
WHERE: Greenwood Studio
WHEN: 6 Weeks from February 16th/19th
COST: $170 for whole 6 weeks, including song sheets

You know what I wish I could tell everyone?

It’s worth it.

Showing up, week after week, it’s worth it.

The camaraderie you’ll form only come with time together, doing something together.
The ability to feel confident and comfortable picking up an instrument.
Finishing something, not just making it through a session, or a year.
Following through… it’s worth it.

Because ten years down the line you’ll look back and you’ll have these memories – I lived a life outside my screen. I created friendships, cultivated a skill, activated my brain each and every time I picked up that instrument.

It’s worth it.

It only happens when you show up though… and without you, we’re missing a piece of the puzzle.

So I encourage you… stick at it. Show up even through the crappy times. The crappy practice! Show up anyway. When life gets busy, or gets you down, when things happen, when it feels overwhelming, or feels super slow, that’s what music and friendship is for!

At the end of the day, decade, lifetime…it’s worth it!

This pile is just the piano folders for this year…
But each student this year - ukulele or piano - is being asked to map their feelings towards their instrument and practice each week.

Did you know that it’s MEANT to look like a roller coaster?

Most people stop - or quit - on the down.
But then you’re missing the rise… and the next high, a bit higher every time, always gradually heading up and forward.

A life-long relationship with music is not always easy, or fun, and there are dry patches. Hard patches. Need-to-practice-keeping-the-eye-on-the-end goal patches.

It will always get easier, and better. The hard stuff only becomes easy when you work at it, or it will forever remain hard.

Don’t give up.

There is no prior knowledge needed, only a desire to have fun and learn a new skill!

In ONE DAY walk away playing songs, strumming your ukulele and feeling confident that you can do this (and practice!)

Every year for over a decade, the studio donates on behalf of the students to International Justice Mission. At the end of every year, we add up their stamps & points and the studio donates $$ based on how many they have. This year we raised $266 through practice (and some generous donations.)

IJM works hard to rescue and give freedom to those in slavery and persecution. They then prosecute and put away the perpetrators so they can’t do it again.

Well done to our little studio for working so hard! We may be small, but even a small drop still causes a ripple effect :) xx

2. Adults Ukulele Club | LEARN while LAUGHING
Ukulele Club is not a group that just plays together - it is a small class that learns new techniques, songs, theory & skills every week.
We focus on having fun while learning together. Currently the 2 full classes say it’s one of the highlights of their week.
There are 2 classes open in 2026 with very limited spots available.
40min classes, 6-weeks, small groups, $170 per term
