Hackett House has claimed the 2026 Interhouse Dance Shield after a spectacular performance during last night's Lower School Interhouse Dance Competition. 💃
The girls were crowned overall champions after points from the Senior and Lower School Dance events were combined. Congratulations to Grace ( Year 8 ) on winning Best Ensemble, Riley Dance Captain Sienna on being named Best Choreographer, and Hackett House, whose electrifying performance of 'Don't Stop Me Now' earned Best Junior Troupe.
Congratulations to all dancers and House Dance Captains for their dedication and hard work throughout the year.

Our Years 11 and 12 ATAR Dance students recently enjoyed an inspiring excursion to see ‘Engine’ by Sydney Dance Company at the State Theatre Centre of WA. 🎭
The girls gained valuable insights into the life of a professional dancer, explored the choreographic process behind the performance and experienced a captivating double bill of ‘Love Lock’ and ‘The Journey Itself Is Home’, leaving inspired and with a deeper appreciation for the art of dance.

Our Year 5 students are this week’s Junior Weather Watchers for 9News Perth! 🌦️📺
Today, the girls welcomed 9News Perth Weather Presenter Natalia Cooper and the Channel 9 camera crew to campus, as part of the Junior Weather Watch program.
Throughout the week, our students will use their new mini weather kit to collect local weather data and send their observations to the 9News Perth team each day. Their weather reports will help contribute to the nightly weather segment read by Natalia on-air.

Our Year 10 students experienced a week of challenge, connection and self-discovery during this week's Boora Koort Program at St Mary's and our Metricup campus. 🏕️
From campfire cooking and creative floral art to bike skills, improv, yoga and journalling, the girls built confidence and resilience while stepping beyond their comfort zones.
Through community service with BaptistCare, trail clean-ups with Mrorca and tree planting at Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, they also made a meaningful contribution to the wider community. 🌿

From crafting eye-catching foodscapes to experimenting with professional lighting setups, our students gained valuable industry insights while bringing creative ideas into focus.

Congratulations to Hackett House for claiming victory during today's Junior School Interhouse Cross Country Carnival. 🏃♀️
Hackett finished on top of the leaderboard, followed by Lefroy and Wardle, with Riley, Wittenoom and Craig completing the final standings.
The girls demonstrated remarkable resilience, house spirit and sportsmanship throughout the day.

We were delighted to hold our Service of Confirmation, Baptism and Welcome to Holy Communion for students and staff on Sunday 26 July.🕯️
It was a wonderful and uplifting service led by The Right Reverend Hans Christiansen and our Chaplain Father Gift Makwasha.

Our students have achieved exceptional results in this year’s Australian Geography Competition, standing out among more than 47,000 students from over 600 schools across Australia.
Congratulations to Ananya ( Year 7 ), Thandeka ( Year 8 ) and Jasmin ( Year 8 ), who placed in the top 1% nationally. 👏
We also celebrate Amelie and Cate (Year 11), recognised among the highest-scoring students in Western Australia, with Amelie earning selection to represent the state at the Geography Big Week Out this September. 🗺️
A special congratulations to Ayla (Year 12), who achieved first place in Western Australia.🏆

Our Senior School students celebrated Languages Week with a range of hands-on activities, from sculpture competitions and chopstick challenges to lively games of pétanque. 🎨
Throughout the week, they explored traditions from around the world, expanded their language skills and embraced different cultures while having plenty of fun along the way!

🎶 Congratulations to Old Girl Aimee Ryan (’20)! 🎶
We are proud to celebrate Aimee on receiving the prestigious Ramsay Postgraduate Scholarship, a highly regarded award recognising exceptional young Australians for their academic excellence, leadership and future potential.
Aimee is an accomplished musician, performer and scholar whose achievements include graduating from the University of Western Australia with First Class Honours, receiving the 2024 Vose Memorial Prize for Music and performing with leading arts organisations across Western Australia.
This scholarship will support Aimee as she undertakes a Master of Music in Performance (Vocal) at the Royal College of Music in London, helping her further develop her skills and pursue an international career in opera.
Aimee’s success is a wonderful reflection of her hard work, talent and commitment to making a difference through music education and performance.
This remarkable achievement is especially significant, as Aimee joins classmate Georgia McKerracher (2020), who was awarded a Ramsay Scholarship in 2024.
