Just a reflection on Easter: Paul in his letter to the Galatians interpreted the 'seed' from his Jewish Scripture (Gen 22:18; Gal 3:8) as the 'Christ' (Gal 3:16) - Jesus was crucified as a seed, not a martyr or a sacrifice. His crucifixion is the evidence that the kingdom of God is now revealed to Jews and Gentiles (nations), and His resurrection is the evidence that Jesus is the seed, the Christ - Jesus, the saviour, is the Christ, the King of nations! Jesus the Christ has fulfilled God's promises to Abraham (Gal 3:14). This shows that the true living God loves all nations!

Are you open to thinking theologically? We are exploring the letters of John and using hermeneutics in a process of our interpretation. You will be inspired, challenged, and equipped.
When: Wednesdays or Thursdays
Fee: $15 (ABN: 83727985522)
I am a theology trainer, and I am self-employed for my ministry. I am currently running two groups on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I am also open to contributing any topic (or an exegetical study of any NT passage) to Bible study groups (even one-on-one or online). My theological study is for those who are curious about knowing Christ Jesus through reading the Bible critically and exploring it exegetically. To be transformed means renewing or reframing our thinking (Rom 12:2). Therefore, we do need one another to explore, reflect, discuss, and interpret the Bible that is referring to Christ Jesus. It’s a challenging and life- changing study. I have also developed my materials - for the references, I have used theologians like Bill Loader, N.T. Wright, Matthew Bates, Teresa Morgan, F.F. Bruce, etc. Please share my ministry to others ❤️🙏.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith” (Romans 1:16-17). Questions to think 🤔: What is the power of God, for Paul the Apostle? Why is it the power of God? How did his readers understand the phrase ‘the righteousness of God? How do we interpret the gospel of Christ?
Together, we use hermeneutics, a set of tools, in a process of our interpretation. I have developed my own materials for the groups. The references I’ve used for the materials come from William Loader (professor from Murdoch University), N.T. Wright, Matthew Bates, Scot McKnight, Benjamin Corey, F.F. Bruce, and … more theologians.
Because of my passion, I am running Bible study (theological training) groups for friends who are keen on reading the Bible critically and exploring it exegetically. Together, we are challenged to reshape our thinking and know who the Christ is. The two groups are currently exploring the exegetical study of Ephesians. Interested, please text me.
An Exegetical study of Paul's Letter to the Romans (chapters 5-8) commences next week (Thursdays or Fridays). You are keen on exploring the passages exegetically and on experiencing the AHA revelation, please contact me to join the study (for leadership and spiritual growth).
