National Volunteer Week may soon be over — but our appreciation certainly isn’t. 💙💛
Across District 17, Toastmasters volunteers continue to make an extraordinary difference every single week.
From welcoming guests at the door…
To mentoring new speakers…
Running meetings, contests and training…
Supporting clubs behind the scenes…
Organising events, websites, newsletters, social media, finances and education…
To simply encouraging someone to believe in themselves —
Every role matters. Every contribution counts.
Toastmasters is built entirely by volunteers.
People who generously give their time, skills, encouragement and leadership to help others grow in confidence, communication and connection.
Some volunteer quietly behind the scenes.
Some lead from the front.
Some simply show up consistently and help create a supportive space where people feel they belong.
Together, these efforts create something truly special.
To every member, club officer, mentor, district leader, helper, organiser, judge, timer, grammarian, photographer, trainer, committee member and supporter —
Thank you.
You are helping build stronger communicators, stronger leaders and stronger communities. 🌟
✨ Tag a Toastmasters volunteer who has encouraged or inspired you.
Let’s celebrate the people who help make our clubs and community so special.

Behind every great Toastmasters event are the people who quietly make it happen. 💙
The warm welcome at the door.
The helping hands behind the scenes.
The encouragement, organisation, laughter, and connection.
This National Volunteer Week, we celebrate every volunteer who gives their time, energy, creativity, and care to help others grow.
Every hand. Every role. Every moment counts.
Thank you to the amazing volunteers helping members find their voice, confidence, and future.

🌟 EVERY CLUB. ONE MORE MEMBER. 🌟
What if every Toastmasters club in District 17 welcomed just ONE more member by June 30?
One more person discovering confidence.
One more future leader.
One more new voice.
Not a huge target.
Just ONE invitation that could change someone’s future.
💬 Who will your ONE be?
Clubs can participate by:
✅ Inviting a guest
✅ Hosting a themed meeting
✅ Sharing member stories
✅ Running a bring-a-friend night
✅ Promoting their club online
Let’s grow District 17 together — one member at a time.

Have you thought about stepping up? If you are asked to take on a role, you'll be supported, get training and enjoy some wins.
🌟 Step Up. Try Something New. Make a Difference. 🌟
Toastmasters clubs don’t grow because of one person — they grow because members choose to step forward, support each other, and help create the experience we all enjoy.
Being a Club Officer is more than a role title. It’s an opportunity to:
✅ Build confidence and leadership skills
✅ Give back to the club that supports you
✅ Learn practical skills you can use in work and life
✅ Meet and work alongside inspiring people
✅ Help shape the future of your club
You don’t need to have all the answers.
You don’t need years of experience.
You just need a willingness to learn and be part of the team. 💬
Many of our strongest leaders started by simply saying:
👉 “I’ll give it a go.”
Whether it’s President, VP Education, VP Membership, VPPR, Secretary, Treasurer, Sergeant at Arms, or another role — every contribution matters.
This could be the year you discover skills and confidence you never knew you had.
🎯 Step up.
🎯 Support your club.
🎯 Grow as a leader.
