🌺 ANZAC Day Closure Notice 🌺

Just a quick update for our members - the toy library will be closed on Saturday 25th April as we take time to reflect on the bravery, service, and sacrifice of our ANZACs and all who have served.

We will reopen as usual on Tuesday 28th April.

Toy Library open today – come down from 10-12

Did you know we have a bunting library in Vic Park? Perfect for birthdays, events, weddings, parties, baby showers and more, this beautiful bunting is made by the Vic Park community for the Vic Park community. Recycled, repurposed and reusable, we love to see it! Currently brightening our shelves in the toy library. Find them on Facebook by searching ‘Victoria Park Bunting Library’

The toy library will be closed following the borrowing session on 20 December and will re-open 17 Jan. We wish all our members and the broader community a safe and happy holiday period.

Following our AGM yesterday, here are some of your current and outgoing CVPTL committee members from L-R: Kim, Orla, Mel, Bronwyn, Jen, Sarah, Ellie, Amy, Jane.

There can’t be community without those who build it, and these amazing people make up the awesome team that keep our wonderful toy library community running.

Particular thanks are given to Sarah (outgoing president) and Orla (outgoing treasurer). These two have stewarded the toy library through an immense period of change over the last 5 years - almost tripling in size, employing a staff member, opening new sensory sessions, and applying for countless grants to bring in new toys. Their contribution has been immeasurable, both in terms of hours and impact. The toy library wouldn’t be what it is without the two of you 🐞
