Welcome friends!

My name is Kristen and I am your local Qi Gong Teacher.

I thought I would take a few moments to introduce myself and the practice of Qi Gong as well as welcoming you to the page.

I have been a Qi Gong (pronounced Chee-goong) Teacher for two years, after completing a 9-month, 450hr Qi Gong Teacher Training program.

I discovered Qi Gong at a festival one year and was instantly hooked. I could FEEL the energy flowing through my hands and my body and I wanted to learn more as I felt it would complement my work as a healer. I was also starting to feel the effects of ageing and working in a very physical job.

As well as being a Qi Gong teacher, I am also a massage therapist, sound therapist and energy healer. My Qi Gong teacher taught me that TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) healers use this system to support their healing practices and that it is a foundational pillar in TCM (along with herbs, acupuncture and massage).

Qi Gong incorporates THREE REGULATIONS:

🧘 Breath: this is calming and restorative; not active and transformational like holotropic breathwork

🥋 Movement: isometric (static postures) and concentric/eccentric (moving postures) which are mostly performed in a standing position

🧘‍♀️ Mindfulness: expansion of conscious awareness at a micro- and macro- level.

When we combine the three practices, we are then able to work on balancing the THREE TREASURES:

Jing - our ESSENCE. Think of this as your DNA

Chi / Qi - our ENERGY. Think of this as the way the systems of your body operate.

Shen - our SPIRIT. Think of this as the way you think, feel and behave.

When all are working in synergy with each other, our bodies are primed for self-healing.

I teach you all of this in my classes, as well as:

- Acupoints and Meridians
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Quantum Healing Techniques
- Self-Massage
- Healing for others
- Principles of TCM

Carinyah Qi Gong - Winter Warmers Series

Join us each Sunday morning for a nourishing Qi Gong practice designed to help restore balance, calm the nervous system, and gently strengthen the body through the winter months.

Using breath, gentle movement, meditation, and mindfulness, we will explore simple yet powerful practices that encourage energy flow, improve mobility, support circulation, and cultivate inner calm.

This class is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, offering a welcoming space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move with intention in a peaceful community environment.

Through regular practice, Qi Gong may help improve flexibility, balance, coordination, relaxation, and overall wellbeing while supporting the body’s natural healing processes.

We will be running a sound healing every four weeks.

Please bring a yoga mat, cushions or blanket for comfort, and a water bottle.

Join me this Sunday 19th and Sunday 26th April for our final Autumn stillness series.

We will be moving to City of Gosnells Leisure World for our winter warmer series, starting June 7.

We had a gentle morning practice today starting with;

- Zhan Zhuang and the diaphragmatic breath and reverse breath
- Working with the breath and the microcosmic orbit
- working with key acupressure points to clear Qi through the Governing and Conception vessels

The purpose of Qi Gong is increasing body connection and awareness to promote health and healing. We all have the power, sometimes we just need to be shown the way.

Join me every Sunday in Summer for My summer series of Qi Gong.

Every week we dive into a different Organ and Meridian, exploring the physical and energetic manifestations from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective.

Learn how to breathe, move and flow and transform the way you navigate the world around you.

This is deep healing which takes you to the core of your being to bring about lasting change from the inside out.

Classes are 60 minutes and suited to all abilities. You are welcome to bring a stool or chair if you are unable to stand for long periods of time.
