🧡🌏 HARMONY WEEK at BEELIAR PS 🌏🧡

This week at our Beeliar campus, we proudly celebrated Harmony Week, embracing this year’s theme, “Everyone Belongs.”

Students and staff came together to recognise and celebrate the many cultures that make up our school community. It was wonderful to see everyone dressed in traditional clothing or wearing orange, showing their support for inclusivity, respect, and belonging.

Harmony Week is a special time to reflect on the importance of kindness, understanding, and celebrating our differences. At Beeliar, we are proud of the diverse community we share and the way our students continue to support and learn from one another every day.

WELLNESS & HARMONY WEEK at BULL CREEK PS 🌿
This week our FLDC students joined the Bull Creek PS community to celebrate a combined Wellness and Harmony Week, embracing the theme “Everyone Belongs.”
Students enjoyed a range of daily activities including mindful nature walks, creative buddy class projects, and joyful bubble and cultural music sessions — all designed to highlight and honour the rich diversity within our school community.
Two standout moments were: ✨ Cultural Food Sharing Day on Wednesday, where students and staff came together to taste and learn about dishes from many cultural backgrounds. 🧡 Harmony Day Assembly on Friday, with students proudly wearing orange and traditional clothing to celebrate inclusion and belonging.
It was a wonderful week of connection, learning, and celebrating the cultures that make our community so vibrant and special.

Together with Caralee Community School, we celebrated Harmony Week with a free breakfast for everyone, followed by an assembly. It was wonderful to see our students proudly wearing orange or their traditional heritage clothing, representing countries from all around the globe.

A beautiful reminder that diversity is our strength and that everyone belongs.

A big thank you to Miss Jane for organising this fantastic event, to our generous sponsors for the food, Camp Australia for the free coffees, and all our volunteers who helped make this a truly special, community-spirited occasion.

Last week we held our first Parent Workshop for 2026, where our Oral Language Team presented an Introduction to Speech and Language. Parents also had the opportunity to visit classroom and view language instruction at our school. These workshops are held every term and provide parents practical strategies to support their child’s oral language development at home. We look forward to continuing to work together with families throughout the year.

We are excited to celebrate Harmony Week with a special breakfast at our Willagee site on Wednesday 18th March!
