Feeling Overwhelmed by Screen Time and Device Safety? We’re Here to Help

🗓️ Thursday 11 September, 4:30–6:00 pm 📍Room 6 – Floreat Park Primary School

- Struggle to reduce screen time at home?
- Find it hard to switch off devices without resistance? - Worry about keeping your child safe online?

This interactive workshop, designed in response to your feedback, will give you practical strategies to manage technology at home. Led by Patrick Thomas from ySafe, the session will cover:
✅ How to set screen-free routines and safely store devices
✅ Using tools like Qustodio and Parental Controls
✅ Creating a Technology Contract that actually works ✅ Insights into YouTube, Roblox, and building healthy tech habits early
✅ Student perspectives on what helps them manage tech better

Parents are encouraged to bring their children (especially those in Years 2–6) for shared activities and discussions. This is a live-only event (not recorded), but handouts will be provided.

Quiz Night Fundraiser 🎥🎟️🍿

We raised a whopping $9,200.00 at the Movie Themed Quiz Night thanks to everyone's donations! We couldn't have done this without the support of local businesses and families at the school who kindly donated prizes and sponsored tables. This will go towards the library renovation project!
