Today we celebrate everything that makes Western Australia such a wonderful place to live, learn and grow, our diverse communities, beautiful landscapes, rich cultures, and the people who make our state so special.

At our centre, we are proud to be part of this vibrant community and to support the children and families who call WA home.

On Wednesday we joined children and educators across the country in celebrating National Simultaneous Storytime Day 📚✨

Together, we enjoyed reading Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller— An uplifting sports-themed story about courage, teamwork, and overcoming nerves on the pitch.

The children loved gathering together to listen, engage in discussions, and share in the joy of storytelling alongside their educators 🦘

National Simultaneous Storytime is a wonderful opportunity to foster a love of reading, language, and connection through shared experiences.

We were delighted to welcome our local MP Madeleine King to our centre last Wednesday for a tour and the opportunity to chat with our wonderful educators.

It was great to share the important work our team does each day to support children and families in our community. Thank you for taking the time to visit and learn more about our centre, we appreciated the opportunity to connect and showcase the passion and dedication of our educators.

On May 4th, we recognised International Firefighters’ Day, a day dedicated to honouring the courage and dedication of firefighters who work tirelessly to protect people, animals, property, and our community ❤️🔥

We are so grateful for the wonderful team from Rockingham Fire Station who visit us throughout the year.
To say thank you, we put together a small goodie box as a token of our appreciation.

Today we celebrate and thank all nurses for the incredible care, compassion, and dedication they show every single day to our families and community.

We took a small moment to show our appreciation by dropping off a little treat box to the wonderful paediatric nurses at Rockingham General Hospital, a small gesture for such a big impact.

Happy Mothers Day

On the week of April 20th,
Jess and Janelle had the opportunity to attend 4 days of training as part of Goodstart’s 2026 First Nations Community of Practice program.

Throughout the week, we were inspired by an incredible line-up of Elders and First Nations professionals who generously shared their knowledge and experiences.

Our Cultural Liaisons also guided meaningful cultural sessions, where we explored contemporary issues and reflected on what reconciliation means to us in our everyday practice.

We gained so much from this experience and are excited to continue learning and growing on this important journey with our educators, families & children.
