It’s more than just a celebration – It’s an invitation. 💚
The purpose of World Vegan Day is to raise awareness about the incredible benefits of veganism – for the animals 🐾 the planet 🌍 and our own health 💪. It’s a day for vegans to celebrate how far we’ve come – and for others to see what’s possible.
Because when the default belief for many non-vegans is that going vegan means losing out – on taste, enjoyment, or convenience – World Vegan Day gives us the chance to show the truth:✨ that we gain so much more!
We gain vitality, compassion, a cleaner conscience, and a cleaner world.
And we don’t lose anything – not the joy, not the community, and certainly not the delicious food! 🥗🍰
This year’s World Vegan Day in my city was a huge success 🎉
It was beautiful to see so many vegans – and so many curious non-vegans – coming together to celebrate kindness, sustainability, and possibility.
So let’s carry this energy forward – Into the festive season and beyond. Let’s keep showing the world that veganism isn’t a sacrifice… it’s a celebration of life. 🌸
Let’s be the invitation – through our joy, our compassion, and the way we live every single day. 💫
Let’s be the irresistible example the world can’t help but follow.

Today I made my submission to the WA Government’s inquiry into greyhound racing.
As a former veterinarian, I’ve seen too many gentle greyhounds reach the end of their short, broken lives at the tip of my needle – teeth rotten, spirits crushed, bodies used up at just a few years old. The trauma of that never leaves you. 💔
If you want to see this cruel industry end, please add your voice.
Submissions are open to anyone, anywhere in the world – and it just takes a few minutes.
A few heartfelt sentences will make a real difference.
