We are a group of 22 2nd Year Architecture students at Curtin University and currently constructing a 1:1 scale reading room – titled the eCUBE.
eCUBE: a 1:1 Full Scale Reading Room Project
We are required to construct a small reading room (2.7m x 2.7m) at 1:1 scale using authentic materials sourced from building material suppliers.These models will be open to the public at Curtin University’s Bentley Campus from Monday 23rd May to 20th June, 2016. The opening of the exhibition will be on Monday, May 23, 2016, 2-5 pm at the Bentley Campus

Congratulations Team eCUBE!!
We did it! We designed and built an amazing reading room structure that will be donated to the McDougall Community Centre Kindergarten.
We would like to thanks Elven Property and Colli Timber for their support.
It is located outside the Student Services Building at Curtin University Bentley Campus.
Only 2 days left, until the eCUBE is complete!

Today we finished the construction of the eCUBE! Thanks to all the members of the team for creating and constructing such an amazing structure! 😉🔨
All that we need to do is move it on site for the grand opening on the 23rd May at 2pm!
