Here ‘bring’ is transitive verb and ‘water’ is its object.
If we say, he brings. Then the question may raise that he brings what? There should be something to replace ‘what’ in order to complete the meaning of the sentence.

is a verb that does not require object; it gives a complete meaning without object.
She comes.
The bird flies.
Here ‘comes and flies’ are intransitive verbs. They give a complete meaning without object.

: transitive verbs can be changed to passive voice while Intransitive Verbs cannot be changed to passive voice.
For example:
He cooks food. (Active voice)
Food is cooked by him. (Passive voice)
The students are swimming. (No passive voice)

: there are some verbs which function both as transitive and intransitive verbs.
He is singing. (Intransitive Verb)
He sings a song. (Transitive Verb)

: The verbs that sometimes take two objects are called Ditransitive Verbs.
For Example:
He gave me a pen. Or
He gave a pen to me.
Here ‘pen’ is direct object and ‘me’ is indirect object.

Verb Is a word which shows action or state of being.
Verbs are divided into ‘regular’ and ‘irregular’ when are changed into ‘past’ and ‘participle’ forms.
Regular verbs are changed to the ‘past’ and ‘participle’ forms by adding ‘ed or ied’ at the end. But
Irregular verbs do not follow the same way; they are changed to second(past) and third(participle) forms irregularly. Some verbs have different spellings in each form.
The following verbs are given with second and third forms together with examples.
