ASC Schools - Samoa

The ASC students from the current trip are on their way home. It was a very successful service-learning trip to All Saints, Apia. This group are all a credit to their schools, their families and to themselves.

Also visiting All Saints Anglican School Samoa is David Simth, Head of Senior School at TAC in Albury NSW.

Swimming lessons and some fun time in the pool today with the year 4 & 5’s from All saints. The ASC students made great swim instructors.

Visited the coral gardens yesterday with the year 7 ‘s from All Saints. Leant about coral bleaching and how coral grows. Then we helped plant coral onto frames for the coral nursery. A great day of practical learning.

The second Service-leaning trip for 2024 has arrived in beautiful Samoa. The next 2 weeks exploring the island and leaning more about Samoan culture. Plus the main purpose of the visit to be with the “little saints” at All Saints Anglican primary school Apia.

What a great week it has been for the ASC students at All Saints Anglican School. From helping with reading and Maths in the classroom to a variety of classroom activities that our students brought with them. We also brought pencil cases from Australia to give to the students in Years 4 to 8.
Thanks to Officeworks for donating the pencil cases with some basic items in them to which our students added.
