What an amazing book week we have had so far - reading with our class buddies in PJs, an incursion and an amazing book character parade - you all looked amazing. So much effort and excitement at school this morning.
Don’t forget Friday is our Story Dog fundraiser WHO READS TO ME? Can you match the teachers to their dogs
$1 a guess - all money raised goes to Story Dogs Charity.
Please support this amazing program that we are lucky enough to have running in our school.

This month our eyes are on TRUST....
an absolute Must-Have in a healthy, Green-Zone friendship.

As a Friendology school we are learning to develop and maintain healthy friendships. Friendship Fact #3 tells us: Trust & Respect are the two most important qualities of a friendship.

Remember this quote from Peter Pan? “All you need is faith, trust, and little bit of pixie dust!”

The Peace Run is coming to Osborne Primary!
We’re thrilled to announce that tomorrow, 10 June, members of the 2025 Australian Peace Run will be visiting our school to share their inspiring journey with us.

The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run is a global torch relay that promotes peace and unity. Currently travelling across Australia, this extraordinary event covers thousands of kilometres, reaching countless communities and schools—including Osborne Primary.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to witness and participate in an event that spreads goodwill and harmony, aligning with our school values and the themes explored in our Friendology program.

Family and friends are invited to join us at 2pm as we hear firsthand about the torch’s journey, carrying the message of peace. If we’re lucky, we might even get the chance to run with the torch ourselves!

This month, as a URSTRONG School, we are helping our students recognise that our differences make us stronger. Students are learning how to respectfully disagree with a friend and accept that it's okay to have different opinions. They're learning to honour their friends' ideas and the power of collaboration over competition. And, they're learning to truly listen and hear their friends, embracing differences as a strength.
