Cloverdale Comets are now taking registrations for the upcoming season, with teams available for kids aged 4 to 12.

🌟 Seniors - Year 4 to Year 6

There's plenty happening at Redcliffe Primary School over the coming weeks - here's a quick look at what's ahead!

💙 Thank you to everyone who attended our P&C AGM last week! It was wonderful to see both familiar and new faces come together to support our school. We've already received such lovely feedback from parents about our new Principal, Mrs Claire Backhouse, and we're looking forward to the next 12 months of continuing to grow a strong, supportive and connected Redcliffe community together.

Have you got any pre-loved books looking for a new home? We'd love your donations! Children's books, novels, cookbooks and more are all welcome. Please drop your donations into the collection tub at the School Front Office, or catch Jazzy or Katrina this week.

Victoria Park Belmont Baseball Club is inviting new and current players to come along for an afternoon of baseball, skills, games and fun!

🏃‍♀️ Faction Cross Country - This Friday! 🏃

Our Faction Cross Country will be held this Friday 7 August, with races beginning from approximately 1:00pm.

Approximate race times:

1:00pm - Pre-Primary
1:10pm - Year 1
1:20pm - Year 2
1:35pm - Year 3
1:50pm - Year 4
2:05pm - Year 5
2:25pm - Year 6

Please note that these times are only a guide and may change depending on weather conditions and how quickly each race progresses. For each year level, the girls will race first, followed by the boys.

Students remain in the same faction throughout their primary school years and are encouraged to wear their faction polo shirt on the day.

Parents and family members are welcome to come along and cheer on our students. Please remain within the designated spectator areas to help the afternoon run smoothly.

🏅 Medals and the overall Faction winner will be announced at the Week 5 Assembly.

📚Second-Hand Book Donations Wanted! 📚

Our Second-Hand Book Collection is now underway!

We're collecting pre-loved books for all ages - children's books, young adult novels, fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, biographies and more. If it's in good condition and ready for a new home, we'd love to have it!

🛍️ At the Year 5 Fundraising Stall
🏫 In the School Front Office
🤝 At tonight's P&C AGM - 6:30pm in the School Library

Every donation helps us create a fantastic book stall while giving books a second life. It's a wonderful way to support our school community, encourage a love of reading and help raise funds for our school. 📖✨

Whether it's one book or a whole box, every donation is greatly appreciated.

🌟📚 Welcome to Week 2 of Term 3! 📚🌟

We hope everyone has settled back into the school routine and is ready for another exciting week at Redcliffe Primary School! 💙

A few reminders for the week ahead:

🥽 Swimming lessons continue through until Friday 31 July - don’t forget to pack your swimmers, towel, goggles and a change of clothes each day.

📚 Scholastic Book Club orders close 9:00am this Friday, 31 July.

🎶 Choir Practice continues every Tuesday at 8:00am in the Undercover Area.

🤝 P&C Annual General Meeting
Our AGM is being held this Wednesday 29 July at 6:30pm in the School Library. We’d love to welcome new members and parents from all year groups. It’s a great opportunity to get involved and help shape our wonderful school community.

🔬 Looking ahead…
Science Week is just around the corner, running from 10-14 August, with plenty of exciting learning opportunities for our students.
