Today’s Learning Story – Doedaak Kepup Visit
Today we went to Doedaak Kepup at Landsdale Library with Vyom Family Day Care kids.
The children enjoyed listening to stories, looking at colourful books, and exploring the library space. They sat together, watched, and joined in with interest and excitement.
This visit helped children develop a love for books, early language skills, and social skills as they shared the experience with their friends. The children also practised listening, turn-taking, and following simple instructions in a community setting.
It was a lovely outing, and the children had a happy and calm time learning together.

🌞 Today's Fun at the Park! 🌳

The children had a wonderful time exploring and climbing together on the rope structure at the park. With bright smiles and determined little steps, they showed confidence, strength, and teamwork as they made their way across the climbing net. Outdoor play like this helps build coordination, balance, and gross motor skills — all while having so much fun under the sunny sky!

🌊 **World Ocean Day at Vyom Family Day Care** 🌊

To celebrate World Ocean Day, our little explorers at Vyom Family Day Care enjoyed a fun and hands-on ocean-themed sensory tray! 🐠🦀💧

The tray was filled with blue water, sea animals, shells, and sand. The children loved moving the sea creatures through the water, feeling different textures, and pretending to swim them around. 🌊🐚

This activity helped them learn about ocean animals, use new words, and practice their fine motor skills. It also sparked their curiosity, encouraged imaginative play, and gave us a chance to talk gently about how we can care for our oceans. 💙

It was a wonderful day full of learning, laughter, and ocean magic! 🌟

🎉 **Aavir’s 3rd Birthday Celebration at Vyom Family Daycare!** 🎂

It feels like just yesterday we brought little Aavir to Vyom Family Daycare for the very first time. He was only 9 months old—curious, wide-eyed, and ready to explore the world around him. Today, he turned 3! 🥹💫

Time has truly flown by. Over these past few years, Vyom Family Daycare has become like a second home for him. He’s grown up surrounded by love, care, and learning. He’s made so many sweet friends, shared laughs, learned new things every day, and created memories that will always stay with us. 💛👫🎨📚

As he heads toward a new chapter—starting school next year—we’re filled with gratitude for this beautiful space that helped shape our little boy into the bright, confident, and joyful child he is today. Thank you to everyone at Vyom Family Daycare for being such a big part of his journey! 🌟🏡

🌏 National Reconciliation Week 2025 at Vyom Family Day Care 🌏

This week, we explored the meaning of National Reconciliation Week and why it is an important time for all Australians. The children learned about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their rich culture, and their deep connection to the land.

🖌️ We created beautiful boomerang artworks using red, yellow, and green dot painting. These colours helped us talk about history, culture, and moving forward together.

🪶 With sensory play, the children traced Aboriginal symbols like animal tracks, stars, and flowers, learning what each one means in storytelling.

📖 During group time, we came together for an Acknowledgment to Country and shared why it's important to show respect to the traditional owners of the land.

It was a week full of learning, art, and respect — helping little minds grow with big hearts. 💫🌼🧡

📚🚓 A Big Day Out for Our Little Explorers! 🚓📚
Today our daycare kids had a fantastic adventure! We started with a fun visit to the local library 📖 where we enjoyed a lovely story time about Yacoub’s truck—which carried all sorts of things like apples, pears, and lots and lots of eggs! 🛻🍎🍐🥚
After the story, our little artists got creative, imagining what might be inside their trucks! They painted pictures and made collages using supermarket catalogues 🖍️🧃🍞🧀. So much imagination and fun!
On our walk back, we had a surprise visit from the Police Bus! 👮‍♂️🚓 The kids got to meet real police officers, shake hands, and learn all about how police help keep our community safe. What an inspiring moment!

**🌟 Term Break Adventures! 🌟**

What a fun-filled school holiday we had! Here's a little snapshot of our exciting excursion:

🚜 **First stop: The Old Tractor Museum** – We stepped back in time exploring vintage tractors and learning a bit of farming history!

🚂 **Next up: A joyful ride on the train** – So many happy faces as we chugged through the beautiful Whiteman Park.

🌳 **A quick detour to a nearby jungle park** – Just a 5-minute drive away, we ran, climbed, and played to our hearts’ content in nature’s playground!

🙏 **Back to Whiteman Park for a peaceful prayer time**, followed by a delicious **lunch under the trees**.

🎠 **After lunch: More fun at the Whiteman Park Playground!**
We had a blast on the slides, monkey bars, swings, and so much more. Smiles, laughter, and memories made!
