Toy Mini Bricks Pirates 🏴‍☠️

Hey Teachers,

How are you? I just wanted to share one of our favourites in our playroom at the moment. My son has been loving pirates and has asked for a pirate birthday party in a few weeks. While he is waiting for the party and counting down day by day, I thought I would get these cards out for him to play with. (Also he wasn’t feeling the pictures today so I didn’t take any of him making these up but he made these up with me with a little support).

This has to be one of my most favourite activities, not only for my own family, but these activities are also some of my best sellers on TpT. They are definitely loved by kids, families and teachers all over Australia. 🇦🇺

Anyways, these are the pirate ones, and we have heaps of different themes available like ocean, Flags of Australia, farm, famous books, princesses and landmarks of Australia.

These blocks are just like the Unifix blocks that I purchased from Officeworks, but check your resource cupboard if you are at a school because it’s likely you will already have a linking cube style block there.

Hey Teachers, Parents or Kmart lovers!

Check out these sweet Tiniez from — there are Unicorns, Axolotls, Ducks and Dinosaurs.

They are actually the perfect size to use as counters or for small world play just as they are. Their size means children will be practising their grip strength while moving them around.

We have created a few resources to go with them and if you love play-based activities that your students don’t even realise they are learning through, please check out our resources.

These resources have all been tried and tested on my son and shared with my teacher friends for their own classrooms.

Unicorn Addition and Subtraction

Hey Teachers,

If you are in Perth today you would be feeling the heat. I think I was getting burnt at 8:30am this morning 😳

This activity is so much fun and my son throughly enjoyed adding the unicorns together. He honestly didn’t even know that he was leaning and just wanted to keep going and going.

Hey Teachers!

Happy New Year… my first post for 2026. I have been quietly working on some new activities over the holidays and here is the first one.

Say hello to Axolotl Soup 🩵🫧

This playful counting collection is designed to spark curiosity, imagination, and early number confidence in little learners. Children can explore numbers 1–20 while counting colourful axolotls into their soup, making maths feel hands-on and fun.
