Welcome to the SEENWesternAustralia page!

SEENWA had it’s humble beginnings in 2017, when I returned from a year as an Exchange Teacher for the Department of Education WA to the Hyogo Board of Education in Japan. Shortly after returning, I started the SEENMandurah Instagram page as a means of showcasing and sharing all things great in Mandurah to my local and international friends.

While living in Mandurah for the past 21 years and being part of its great coastal community, I met my partner David and recently moved back to Perth, where David is based. Having now lived in Perth for a year, I’ve enjoyed rediscovering and sharing great finds in Perth and its surrounds.

I’ve traveled extensively, but have always had a passion for supporting local and traveling local and will continue promoting local in a wider sense via #SEENWA. In the mix you’ll see some of my wanders around our beautiful state, as I explore WA with David, one of Australia’s most renowned nature photographers.
