Having fun planning next term's classes involving chocolate, gummy bears, and fire. Not all together.... Although.... 😛

We got started with our myth busting this week, trying to separate phone books and pulling tablecloths off tables. Each group is taking a slightly different direction next week as they've chosen which myths to try next 🙂

Term 2 classes start next week - Tuesdays at Midland and Thursdays at Cockburn. Looking forward to busting some myths together!

This week's science - friction testing, Rube Goldberg machines and stick bombs

Just finalising Term 1 classes - we'll be doing energy transfers via crazy contraptions at Cockburn on Thursdays and Guildford on Tuesdays. Exact times will be confirmed when I have venue bookings locked in.

Our young scientists performed their own investigations today, ranging from the viscosity of fake blood, and the effect of temperature on Mentos and Coke, to elephant's toothpaste. We had some interesting results and some great discussion.
