National Reconciliation Week is a special time for us to learn, share and grow together as a community.

Throughout the week at Nido, the children will enjoy storytelling, creative art, music and cultural experiences as we explore and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and traditions in a meaningful and engaging way.

National Sorry Day is a time to reflect, acknowledge the Stolen Generations, and honour the strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Karen is humorous, energetic, and passionate about creating meaningful learning environments for children. She makes every day at daycare colourful, engaging, and full of play-based experiences!

Seeing her in the morning instantly brings positive energy — her optimism and enthusiasm are truly contagious!

She has a pair of magical hands — not only does she lead children through creative and engaging activities, but she can also fix just about anything!
