How Do I Get Faster? 🤔

When I coach speed it’s all about the 3 P’s
Position, Pattern & Power.

The drills and warm ups I use are all about developing good movement habits that prepare you for moving fast.

Step 1. Get into the A Position.

That’s why I created STRENGTH CAMP.

I plan the session, coach you through all the movements and help you adjust for an injuries or limitations.

Training in a small group means you get plenty of coaching help, whilst having friends there to cheer you on for a personal best!

You Got This.

In the first few weeks of Strength Camp, I’m always encouraging my athletes to try the heavier weights.

Yes, it’s suppose to feel heavy.

But somewhere around week 4 there is a mindset shift.

Suddenly the girls WANT to lift heavy, and that’s where the magic happens.

Yes they get stronger, but more importantly they are eager to seek out a challenge.

Strength Camp is about gaining confidence in what your body can do.

Hard Work Always Beats Talent.

It’s difficult not to envy those players that are blessed with great genetics. They’re fast, powerful and just seem to make everything look effortless. Some of them possess these qualities without even having to train much.

The reason why we are so envious is because we as humans are always comparing ourselves to others. This can be helpful when we push ourselves to get better, but it can also hinder us when we tell ourselves ‘life’s unfair’.

If you go to the gym, lift weights, sprint, eat well, get good sleep and do all the things you need to be successful. After a few weeks or even a few months you may still fall short of those more genetically gifted.

But if you stay consistent, focus on yourself and keep working. You will eventually surpass everyone! Included those players with great genetics.

Hard Work Always Beats Talent.

The only question is, are you ready to work hard?
