Youâre missing just 1 thing.
The footy season is well and truely underway, so youâre probably settled into the routine of team trainings during the week and a game on the weekend.
Great for your skills and fitness, but there is one piece still missing.
Itâs Explosive Power.
Youâre probably not getting heavy lifts or explosive movements in with your current routine, and come finals this could be a problem.
To help my footy players with a more well rounded routine Iâm kicking off my new set of Camps in June and this will have you in peak condition for finishing out the season in great shape.

As a nurse it was important that the little time she could spare to go to the gym was being used effectively. â°
âI would spend hours in the gym wondering if what I was doing would get me the results I was after.â
April signed up to the SCSP Online Program, so that she could get a structured workout plan that she could do in her own time. đ
By making use of the camera on her phone, I was able to assess the form of her main lifts, to make sure she was performing the lifts with correct form and the desired intent.
We also tracked the weight she was lifting, so we could see her strength improve each week.đ

The key to success for April was support and consistency. Knowing that itâs okay if you miss a couple workouts and having someone there to encourage you on both good weeks and bad weeks. đ
âI havenât been able to be as consistent as I would have liked, but Scott has given me encouragement and support to do what I am capable of each day and not feel so guilty about not getting a full workout in.â

A great option is using a sled push, but itâs important this we are working on our acceleration mechanics so we avoid practising poor technique.

What Really Matters Is The Legacy You Leave Behind.
Iâm really thankful for all the opportunities Iâve been given and all the amazing people Iâve met along my fitness journey.
I prefer to call it a journey, because Iâve done so many different things over the years. Iâm always trying to learn more and improve as a coach.
Itâs never too late to start or to try something new.
I consider myself very lucky to have had such great training influences over the years, Iâve been able to learn from the very best.
Which is ultimately why I started SC Sports Performance.
Not only to help athletes get the right training to help them succeed on the field, but also to inspire them to help others.
At the end of the day, your playing and coaching career is only so long. The legacy you leave behind is what truly matters.
I hope to teach, encourage and inspire as many athletes as I can. So they have just as many opportunities as possible.

My Origin Story.
In 2019 I was working full time as a bartender and realised it wasnât the career path for me.
I was also a volunteer assistant coach with the Curtin Saints Womenâs Gridiron Team, which was something I really enjoyed doing.
There was something about working with female athletes that I found extremely rewarding.
Not that there was anything wrong with the male coaching space, I just found coaching female athletes more fulfilling and I felt more free to be my authentic self⊠Mostly a dork
Then one day I wondered to myself, could I do this for a living?
The crazy thing was in 2019 nobody was doing this.
Outside of professional teams, nobody had even heard of a âfemale sports performance coachâ. Which is probably why I had so much trouble explaining my vision to others in the beginning.
When I asked people what they thought of the idea. The responses were polarising.
It was either âHell yes!â or âScott, I donât think thatâs a thingâŠâ
This didnât exactly fill me with confidence, but I had a vision and I had nothing to lose.
It began with shooting some workout tutorial videos in my courtyard.
Or should I say, I begged my girlfriend to hold the camera while it took me 8 attempts to get out 2 sentences. Itâs safe to say, I was never short on blooper reels.
In fact the very first video I ever shot can still be found on my YouTube channel if you scroll back far enough. Itâs nothing special. In fact, forget I said anything, please donât go looking for it.
When I realised I wasnât going to become Youtube famous, I put more of my focus back into small group training.
Thatâs when I came up with the program that really gave my vision some traction.
We called it SPEED CAMP.
I soon realised this crazy idea might just work.
A few years later and here we are, what started off as a vision is now a reality.
I am so thankful for all the people that helped me along the way, because without them SC Sports Performance wouldnât exist.
Every day I wake up and get to do what I love.
Help athletes chase their dreams, just like I got to chase mine.
