Today is School Library Day. Across Australia we celebrate our wonderful libraries and the precious resources they provide to support reading literacy, reading for pleasure and whole school reading initiatives.

Ashdale Primary School is extremely lucky to have a well-resourced and staffed Library for our students to enjoy.

Ashdale Primary School is seeking expressions of interest for the operation of a Canteen service from the school site, ideally commencing from 21st July 2025 (Term 3).
Expressions of interest must be received no later than 3pm on Wednesday, 21st May 2025.

A big thank you to Margaret Quirk MLA , State Member for Landsdale who has recently donated several books to Ashdale Primary School.

Margaret has donated 3 popular fiction books with accompanying costume prop’s reflecting each book’s theme that can be used by our students for book week dress ups.

Margaret also attended and supported our Miyawaki Forest planting day and donated a beautifully illustrated non-fiction book all about trees and the forests they can be found in.

All these donated books are available in the library for students to borrow and enjoy.
